Monthly Archives: November 2012

Oops … it’s been longer than it should be since I last added to my blog. I’m looking forward to sharing a couple new things that will be published in about a week. Meanwhile, here’s a personal project from earlier this year. More of an experiment in portraiture rather than my usual editorial work. Below are a couple details of the image above. Hopefully it’s worth your while to scroll to the end.

More fruit and veggie portraits to follow soon. Thank you for taking the time to stop by my blog.

Below you’ll find a new editorial illustration about Appraisals – and how a high-quality one “can make closing a breeze” but a low-quality appraisal can have the opposite effect. Especially for a November issue, this one is a bit more colorful than usual, but I opted to go the bright and cheery route.  Below is the primary illustration, a couple details and then a very small in-context view. The illustration was done for a feature article in this month’s Scotsman Guide’s Residential edition. The final size is approximately 15 x 13 inches.

Thanks for stopping by!
