Thanks for visiting my blog. Today’s post is an editorial illustration created for the summer edition of the Intelligent Collector, for an article titled: Damaged, Lost, Stolen! The article is about how to be sure your fine collectibles are properly insured, safe and sound, no matter what might happen!
As always, I appreciate your stopping by.
Hello! Thanks for checking in on my blog. Today’s post is an editorial illustration created for the July Scotsman Guide Commercial edition. The article talks about bridge lenders that go above and beyond to help their clients. Below you’ll find the usual detail and in-context images. I also added another one that includes my initial sketch (the winner among several ideas presented) combined with an in-progress screen grab — from midway through the Photoshop-ing process. It would be interesting to include more of those one-of-these days, if only I could remember to make them. This illustration is a bit of a retro take-off on the spaceman and background theme.
As always, I appreciate your taking the time to stop by.
Hello! You’d think that today’s post would be kinda patriotic, getting close to the 4th of July here in the States. But, a couple of my recent illustrations published in the July Scotsman Guide Residential edition channel Dia de los Muertos imagery instead. (I happen to be a fan of both). I think it’s important to go with what the article speaks to, not the season its being published in. One really fun part of this assignment was being able to work on a number of illustrations for one feature. Below you’ll find the image for the opening spread, and then a number of smaller images. As usual, I’m including some details, in-context pages and a couple sketches.
Hope you enjoyed the imagery. Let me know what you think. As always, thanks for stopping by and making it all the way to the end!
